Motherfuckers JMB & Co. and Jason Willett

***Nina and the Argonauts*** is a new group from DC that features 18-year old songstress **Nina X** and her original songs written in English and Portuguese, with soul and indie rock influences. The Argonauts are her assembled band of music veterans including former members of the SST band **The Alter Natives**, NYC power pop **Boys Club**, and **GWAR**, as well as 18 year old guitarist Zyad Shahrli. ***Motherfuckers JMB & Co.*** is a Krautrock-influenced trio featuring Jim Thomson on drums, Marc Minsker on guitar/bass, and hometown hero Brian Weitz aka ***Geologist of Animal Collective*** on hurdy gurdy, focusing on extended explorations of sound and the cosmos. Record store impresario and member of Half Japanese ***Jason Willett*** will close out the evening with a DJ set of space rock and psychedelic vinyl treasures.
