The record features 10 crisp tracks, honing in on the band’s ability to cultivate clear production alongside furious melodies, making for a notable contrast.
Each track moves quickly by delivering clear dynamics as each song comes in waves of rage.
Introduction track “Suicidal Blood Fucker” comes in with high angst, filling speakers to the brim with strategically placed screaming vocals that are stressed over fast-paced music.
“Phantoms” hits next, putting emphasis on percussion, driving the track to have intensity while controlled by underlying melodies.
Songs such as “Foreshadow” give off an anthemic moment, flowing through transitions and showcasing dynamics in the vocals; these elements make it a stand-out track.
Further down the record fans will find “Cursed Eternal” following the blueprint of fast and loud that the record has put as it has continued through.
Closing out of “Debauchery” flutters through, adding a new component to the album, focusing their passion in a cinematic introduction wrapping the record to a cohesive close.
Bathe the Babe in Bats’ Blood is an album of uniformed chaos, SPITER has crafted a well-aligned record, stepping outside their comfort zone while being able to play with new ideas within their genre.
