PLQ MRX are a mysterious Philadelphia noise-rock collective pushing heavy, blown-out rock into a more theatrical and psychedelic realm. Rising from the remnants of the band Plaque Marks, the group channels distorted guitar filth, mutant groove, punk damage, and lysergic weirdness into a sound that lands somewhere between Flipper, Funkadelic, early Butthole Surfers, and a basement show gone fully off the rails.
