Pop hooks can take some wonderfully unexpected turns. Spookey Ruben brings his playful world of psychedelic pop, progressive ideas and colorful songwriting to Metro Baltimore on Thursday, October 29, 2026, with Fetcher, Salon and Monkey.
Known for *Modes of Transportation Vol. 1,* Ruben folds elaborate arrangements and a mischievous sense of invention into songs with a strong melodic center. There’s something here for the art-pop obsessive, the adventurous listener and anyone who loves a chorus that arrives by a surprising route.
